She at the End of All Things
"At the center of all,
In darkness deep and ponderous.
Of all things,
Of all time and space,
Waiting.
Seasons shift, and man strays from the path,
Old ways are forgotten,
False idols worshipped and feted,
But time grows short.
The spirits call out to her,
The devils call out to her,
The animals and the trees call out to her,
The dark and all her children call out to her,
In our deepest and most delirious sleep,
We call out to her,
In our secret wishes and deep desires
We call out to her,
And she hears.
And she thins the veil that separates us,
And the night is a mysterious and fearsome thing once again!"
